Spencer Tew
Spencer Tew has extensive experience representing clients in a wide array of business disputes, including multi-million dollar construction defect, contract and lien litigation, defense of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission civil investigation and enforcement actions, defense of federal civil RICO damage actions, federal trademark infringement actions, as well as representing clients in state and federal court securities litigation and FINRA arbitrations.
Spencer is an active member of the Florida bar, a member of the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Additionally, Spencer served on the Florida Bar Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division, from 2005-2008, and is currently a member of the ABA Subcommittee on Civil Litigation and SEC Enforcement Matters.
Spencer received his bachelor's degree and graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University, and received his J.D. from the Florida State University School of Law. Spencer also serves on the Board of Directors of the Michael K. Scholz Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged youth in South Florida with unique educational and life enhancing experiences.
